In the old myths that formed the world we meet the Grandmothers, the Old Women, the Hags, the Ancient Witches, the Seers who embody the Sovereignty of the Land, of the Earth, of the Stars and the Womb of Darkness. Of our hearts.
They remind us of the deep power-presence of our sovereignty, that we are whole and complete unto ourselves and belong and relate to infinite possibilities. In this sense Sovereignty describes our intrinsic, divine, holy belonging to the ground of being as ourselves. We are invited and challenged to exist and express as ourselves, in relationship with infinite other beings. This is the dance. How we do this defines so much of who we become.
We may walk the serpent path of skill and sorcery. To become skilful in how we consciously weave with the life-force and the threads of magic and fate in our lives, we invoke the Fates, Grandmothers, the Ancient Ones. We learn directly from them/us, for they live through us, they are our ancestors and descendants in all times and places.
Bagus Jati
Bali’s premier Health and Wellbeing Retreat, Bagus Jati is set on 5 hectares of hillside gardens amongst emerald tinted forests north of Ubud, Bali, and offering one of the island’s most breathtaking valleys. An architecturally unique retreat dedicated to one thing - your well-being. It is 750m above sea level with fresh mountain air and pleasant climate (approx. 20 – 25 Celsius degrees).
