Our Origin

Invoking Who We Are Becoming arose from the convergence of two rivers, catalysed by Yoshi Wanderhoof's (a.k.a. Wanderinfinity) fierce encouragement of Fio to teach more in the land of their birth. As dear friends and chosen kin Fio and Yoshi weave their magic and hearts together to host this offering.

After some years of accumulated inquiries and requests, Invoking Who We Are Becoming was birthed into existence in 2025, with Yoshi holding the earthly architecture that allows the magic to move freely.

Bali, or Nusa Dewata, the birthplace and ancestral homeland of Fio Gede Parma is the chosen place of this immersion because of the depth of connection, lineage, and ancestry; but also because of the uninterrupted relations between the Sekala (the seen world) with the Niskala (the unseen worlds) over the course of millenia. The island of a thousand Gods, where offerings and dialogue across realms has remained a daily practice from animistic roots to the Indification and arrival of Hinduism to the island. A place where flowers, fruits, coffee and gifts to the spirits lay at every doorstep, threshold, crossroad, and temple; forever travelling across the thin veil on wafting tendrils of incense smoke. 

Our first chapter in 2025 welcomed twenty-two souls from around the world to presence themselves in their Ancestry, Alignment and Agency. The second chapter in 2026 received ten deeply practiced Witches to journey the serpentine paths of Sovereignty, Skill, and Sorcery.
